Yukon Canada

Yukon Canada has the smallest population of any province or territory. Yukon was split from the Northwest Territories in 1898 and was originally named the Yukon Territory. In 2002, the official name was changed to Yukon.

Located in the Kulane National Park and Reserve, Yukon’s Mount Logan is the highest mountain in Canada and the second highest in North America.

The Klondike Gold Rush changed Yukon, but it is still more than 80 percent wild.
